The authors study the right-differentiability of the solution of an abstract optimal control problem with linear input-output equation and pointwise control constraints, where the data depend on a real parameter. The right derivative is presented by the solution of an associated linear-quadratic optimal control problem. The results are applied to sensitivity analysis of an optimal boundary control problem for a system of elliptic differential equations.
