The main elastic capacities of a spheroid (Q1085654)

The author studies the movement of a rigid inclusion in an elastic space. This movement produces a strain energy whose coefficients are called ''capacities''. Selected capacities called ''main capacities'' are defined for oblate and prolate spheroids. The paper is specialized but it may be of general interest and use to elasticians. It is well-written and reasonably self-contained.
