Über Torsion, Krümmung und Autoparallelität der Finsler-Otsukischen Räume. (On torsion, curvature and autoparallelism of Finsler-Otsuki- spaces) (Q1085807)

In a previous paper [Tensor, New Ser. 37, 121-129 (1982; Zbl 0495.53020)], the author has introduced the notion of a Finsler-Otsuki space \((F\)-0\({}_ n)\) determined by a fundamental function F(x,y), a Finsler tensor field P and a pair of connections ('\(\Gamma\),''\(\Gamma)\). In the present paper he determines the Finsler tensor fields of torsion and curvature of a space \(F\)-0\({}_ n\), establishing the structure equations of the pair ('\(\Gamma\),''\(\Gamma)\). Considering a hypersurface \({\mathcal F}_{n-1}\) in \(F\)-0\({}_ n\) he studies the induced geometric objects on \({\mathcal F}_{n-1}\) and the totally geodesic hypersurfaces \({\mathcal F}_{n-1}\) of the first and the second kind.
