Unsteady free convective flow of a viscous incompressible fluid from a heated disk rotating in a vertical plane induced by periodic variation in the mean temperature of the disk is analysed for low and high frequencies of oscillation. The oscillatory solutions of the energy equation are also obtained. The solutions are matched at a suitable frequency parameter which increases with the Prandtl number of the fluid.
