The \(G_ 2\)-calibrated manifolds are the \(G_ 2\)-analogous of the symplectic manifolds. Such a manifold is 7-dimensional and has a two fold vector cross product such that the associated 3-form is closed. In this paper a family of compact \(G_ 2\)-calibrated solvmanifolds is constructed.
