The setting of this article is the neighborhood spaces of \textit{C. T. J. Dodson} and \textit{R. Lok} [Ars Comb. 16A, 107-130 (1983; Zbl 0541.54001)]. An intermediate value theorem is proven for neighborhood maps on a connected neighborhood space to the standard neighborhood space. Some generalizations of the central intermediate value theorem are also established.
