In this paper the author studies the discharge into a vacuum of two- dimensional nonisotropic flows of a perfect polytropic gas, occuring when the surface that separates the given flow of gas from vacuum is instantly removed. The solution of the problem is represented in the form of convergent series constructed with special variables.
