The problems of minimum weighted sum and of maximum deviations from the rated values are considered for a linear finite-difference system. An expression is obtained for the optimum value of the performance functional, as well as the necessary conditions for the optimum values of the dual variables. A counterpart of the maximum principle is obtained for determining the optimal control.
