Fundamental mathematical problems of computational diagnostics are formulated for X-ray computerized tomography with a monoenergetic source and linear propagation of the radiation in the object being diagnosed. These problems are reduced to integral equations of the first kind, such as convolutions. A method of local regularization for the construction of approximate solutions is presented, specifying the role of mathematical modeling of tomographs.
