It is shown that: cons(ZFC \(+\exists\) supercompact) \(\Rightarrow\) cons(ZFC \(+\forall \lambda\) singular \(\exists\) a \(\lambda^+\) Suslin tree) and cons(\(\exists\) an \(\aleph_{\omega +1}\) Suslin tree and \(\nexists\aleph_{\omega +1}\) special Aronszajn tree). \(\lambda\) \({}^+\) Suslin or Aronszajn trees are also given in case \(\lambda\) is a limit of supercompact cardinals.
