The authors take up the polynomials \(Y_ n^{(\alpha)}(x,k/q)\) which form one set of q-Konhauser biorthogonal polynomials. The author provide an interesting operational representation for these polynomials by using a q-binomial theorem and the operational relation: \((x^{k+1}\delta)^ nx^{\alpha}=(q^{\alpha};q^ k)_ nx^{\alpha +nk}\).
