We show that a distribution f as well as an attenuation coefficient \(\mu\) are uniquely determined by the values of their constantly attenuated Radon transform \(R_{\mu}f\) if and only if f is not a multiple of the delta function (identification problem). Explicit identification formulas for \(\mu\) are given.
