The plastic constitutive equation, proposed and developed by the author in the previous papers of this series [see the reviews above (Zbl 0621.73035 and Zbl 0621.73036)], is employed to determine the forming limit-strain diagrams (FLDs) of some commercial metal sheets for proportional loadings. The local necking condition is used as the breakage condition. It is observed that the FLDs from the present theory give better quantitative prediction than those obtained from Stören and Rice's theory [see the citation in part IV]. The formulae for the in- plane anisotropic cases are also given.
