We deal with the sectional continuity of farthest point map in normed spaces. We show that the problem of continuity of farthest point map reduces to the problem of continuity at zero. We also give a simple proof to show that if the farthest point map of uniquely remotal set T is continuous at a centre of T, then T is singleton.
