The testing problem of root exclusion of n-dimensional polynomials from a subspace of \(C^ n\) is considered. The concept of robust relative multidimensional stability and a systematic method for testing it are presented. Necessary and sufficient conditions for testing robust stability independent of delays of linear systems of retarded type are established. Examples are provided which illustrate the applicability of the theory.
