Design of discrete stationary recursive polynomial filters with a higher order of lag (Q1091341)

In considering linear discrete stationary recursive polynomial filters in smoothing problems, one-parameter subsets of stable filters are obtained that have a higher order of lag with respect to some outputs. Explicit formulas are presented for the accuracy characteristics of filters of these subsets, which are then used for constructing an approximate method of optimal design according to the criterion of minimum filtering error.
