On Hadamard gap series and errata to Plessner, Julia, and \(\rho ^ *\)- points (Q1091509)

In the first part of this paper alternative proofs are given for some theorems on Hadamard gap series in the papers of \textit{T. Murai} [Ann. Inst. Fourier 31, 135-136 (1981; Zbl 0437.30021)], \textit{W. H. J. Fuchs} [Proc. NRL Conf. Classical Function Theory, Washington, D.C., 1-32 (1970; Zbl 0294.30021)], \textit{L. R. Sons} and \textit{D. M. Campbell} [Bull. Lond. Math. Soc. 12, 115-118 (1980; Zbl 0423.30021)], and \textit{Ch. Pommerenke} [Mich. Math. J. 11, 219-233 (1964; Zbl 0135.124)]. The second part of the paper corrects three theorems in the author's previous work of similar title [J. Math. Kyoto Univ. 18, 173-188 (1978; Zbl 0383.30017)].
