The notion of a Finsler space \(F_ n\) with an (\(\alpha\),\(\beta)\)-metric was introduced by \textit{C. Shibata} [J. Hokkaido Univ. Educ. 35, 1-16 (1984)]. In the present paper, the authors study the conformal transformations in these spaces. The authors discuss the properties of Berwald, Landsberg and locally Minkowskian Finsler spaces \(F_ n\) and \(\bar F{}_ n\) which are conformally related, and also establish a correspondence between the curvature tensors of \(F_ n\) and \(\bar F{}_ n\).
