The problem of simultaneous system identification is posed and an efficient algorithm for its solution is formulated. Our algorithm is a blend of an \(A^*\) search together with simulated annealing. The proposed algorithm returns the optimal solution while the number of required operations is usually much smaller than any other brute-force algorithm.
