From an extended definition of conullity, a characterization theorem is given by distinguished subsets of some summability domains. With a result of A. Wilansky, a 2-norm closure property has also been obtained. In comparison with earlier studies, [such as \textit{A. K. Snyder}, Math. Z. 90, 376-381 (1965; Zbl 0132.087) and \textit{S.-C. Chang}, Math. Z. 113, 249-254 (1970; Zbl 0182.165)], this paper provides more updated information on hereditary properties for FK-spaces, as well as for conullity with respect to some FK-space X.
