A theoretical study is made of secondary motions arising in the flow of a viscous liquid in a channel with slightly wavy wall. The problem is reduced to the solution of the Orr-Sommerfeld equation with inhomogeneous boundary conditions. The study is done with the method of orthogonal expansions. It is shown that when the parameters of the flow are close to critical values, intense resonances arise.
