A two-dimensional mathematical model of two-phase flow is presented. The analytical formulation of the model involves the mass, momentum and energy conservation equations for vapour and droplet flows, liquid film and for the wall of the channel, and also a number of subsidiary relations incorporated to close the set of equations. The assumptions invoked are analyzed.
