Conformal and isometric immersions of Riemannian manifolds (Q1093171)

Let (M,g) and (N,h) be Riemannian manifolds and suppose that \(f: M\to N\) is an immersion. The authors present some sufficient conditions under which the metrics g and \(f^*h\) are conformally related. A slight strengthening of these conditions yields a criterion for f to be an isometry. Some further interesting results along these lines and applications are also given.
