Submanifolds of a Finsler manifold. I (Q1093176)

The Finsler connection \(C^{(p)}\Gamma\) was introduced by \textit{S. Hōjō} in order to consider the fundamental functions of S3-like Finsler spaces [J. Math. Kyoto Univ. 21, 787-807 (1981; Zbl 0481.53026); Tensor, New Ser. 35, 333-344 (1981; Zbl 0473.53018)]. In the present paper the author performs complicated calculations to obtain important tensors and the Gauss-Codazzi equations of subspaces based on the connection \(C^{(p)}\Gamma\).
