The Compton-Getting effect is analyzed in a general transformation of differential particle intensity on spherical-harmonic coefficients. The transformation is correct to the second order and is also valid for relativistic particles. The transformations of the zeroth and first harmonics are derived and allows for determining the directional intensity of particle data in a comooing frame, e.g., in a spacecraft.
