Some general guidelines for constructing the solution to the problem of the SAW scattering on localized surface irregularities are presented, with a special attention to the case of dot arrays. Only the mechanical part of the solution is demonstrated in detail. A unique method for treating the statistical component of the dots distribution in SAW reflective structures is developed.
