Exact solutions for the following three problems for an elastico-viscous fluid are obtained: (i) Stokes problem on a porous plate, (ii) Stokes problem, and (iii) steady flow over a porous plate. It is shown that the Taylor expansion in powers of the elastico-viscous parameter matches with the perturbation solutions obtained in some earlier investigations. Wave structure for the first problem is analyzed.
