Let D be a bounded plane domain with a \(C^ 4\) boundary. The author considers various projection operators, as the Cauchy projection, the orthogonal projection, etc., of \(L^ 2(\partial D)\) onto \(H^ 2(D)\), and establishes some persistent relationships amongst them. These interrelationships are then used to study real or holomorphic Hardy spaces.
