We investigate the asymptotic behaviour of the eigenvalue distribution functions for certain nonselfadjoint elliptic boundary value problems involving indefinite weight functions. These nonselfadjoint problems arise from perturbations of selfadjoint ones, and the known results for these latter problems are utilized in establishing our main results.
