For part I see \textit{D. Barlet} and the author, ibid. 61, 165-183 (1986; Zbl 0599.33020). Sharp uniform estimates are given for the zonal functions (with regular parameter) associated to Cartan motion groups; they generalize the classical \(O(| x|^{-})\) estimate for Bessel functions. The proof uses mainly the differential system satisfied by the zonal functions.
