The author considers ``primitive fixing systems'' of a given convex body K, i.e. minimal sets of points on \(bd K,\) such that K is stabilized with respect to translations. This notion was introduced by L. Fejes Tóth. The number of fixing points obviously depends on K and on their position on bd K. The author proves several special results.
