The effect of vertical sinusoidal vibrations of a layer on the onset of convection in a rotating fluid with arbitrary Prandtl numbers is investigated in two cases: vibrations with high frequency and arbitrary amplitude and small amplitude but arbitrary frequency. It is assumed that the layer boundaries are free of stresses.
