The flows which arise due to the effect of local heat sources in a stratified liquid rotating around its vertical axis are studied in the Boussinesq approximation using the method of integral transformations. Both the stationary case and the non-stationary case, which corresponds to an instantaneous heat pulse, are studied. Polyhelical convection, the structure of which is determined by the relationship between the stratification and rotational parameters as well as by the values of the dissipative parameters of the mixture, is investigated.
