An adaptive control for nonlinear plants is designed that belongs to nonsearching self-adjusting systems. A peculiar feature of such a control system is the use of a linear reference model and of nonlinear feedback loops. This control ensures that the main circuit remains linear under large finite deviations of the plant variables. Adaption algorithms are also obtained.
