The author studies a class of real analytic mappings (Fueter mappings) from open subsets of \({\mathbb{R}}^ n\) (n\(\geq 2)\) into \({\mathbb{R}}^ n\). He characterizes such mappings by a system of partial differential equations, and he determines conditions for their K-quasiconformality. Furthermore he also characterizes the Jacobian matrices of this mappings.
