Some hybrid fixed point theorems related to optimization (Q1094659)

The author has proved three theorems. In the first theorem he has proved that maximization with respect to a cone is equivalent to a fixed point problem which he termed as hybrid fixed points. The second theorem establishes conditions under which such hybrid fixed points exist. Finally in the third theorem a generalization of contraction mapping is presented.
