One presents algebraic criteria for absolute stability, equivalent to the known frequency criteria of V. M. Popov and to the circular criterion. Their application allows us to pass, at the investigation of the stability of nonlinear systems, from conditions in the form of frequency inequalities to inequalities connecting the parameters of the system.
