Hyperbolic structure preserving isomorphisms of Markov shifts. II (Q1095273)

The present paper continues earlier work of the author [Isr. J. Math. 55, 213-228 (1986; Zbl 0615.28011)] and deals with finitary, hyperbolic structure preserving, metric isomorphisms. It is shown that Tuncel's \(\beta\)-function is an invariant of this isomorphism class of Markov- and Gibbs measures. Any two Markov shifts arising from Markov partitions on some fixed Axiom A diffeomorphism on a basic set are isomorphic in the above sense, producing other examples than those in the previous paper.
