A conducting nonmagnetic ellipsoid in a magnetic field is studied. For the axisymmetric field of the second harmonic, the moment of forces acting upon the ellipsoid has been found; the conditions of asymptotic stability of the stationary rotation about the symmetry axis of the field have been obtained.
