The authors describe a general method for finding a densest latticed disk k-fold packing (for any positive integer k). The method consists of finding maxima of finitely many functions of one variable. A construction, different from that of \textit{W. S. Blundon} [J. Lond. Math. Soc. 38, 176-182 (1963; Zbl 0118.175)], of a densest latticed disk 6- fold packing is given.
