After his voyage to Paris in 1672, G. W. Leibniz was interested in mathematical aspects of probability theory. His two manuscripts: ``Sur le calcul des partis'' (1676) and ``De incerti aestimatione'' (1678) have been commented on by \textit{K.-R. Biermann} in 1957. Here a new manuscript of Leibniz from 1686 about the problem of chances of two and more gamblers (a problem posed by J. Bernoulli) is presented (see G. W. Leibniz, Handschriften XXXV 13,3 folia 31-32 and two other folia 29 r,v). The printed results of Bernoulli (1690) and of Leibniz (1690) are being compared with this manuscript of 1686. The mathematical developments by Leibniz are more modest than those by Bernoulli and the mathematical terms are somewhat different. 24 lit.
