We present some estimates of adaptability of demographic behavior [part I, ibid. 47, No.12, 1675-1683 (1986; Zbl 0622.92015)], which lead to a meaningful interpretation of optimal behavior. A continuous version of the main model is described, providing additional opportunities for investigation of demographic behavior.
