It is shown that the lower limit of any spectrum where each space is either an elementary n-dimensional complex or a simplicial complex arising as a result of a finite number of consecutive barycentric subdivisions of an elementary n-dimensional complex and the mappings are natural projections is homeomorphic to n-dimensional closed simplex.
