Several methods for approximating and interpolating given scattering data by a bivariate or trivariate function are described. The methods (including Hardy's multiquadric method and some new multistage methods) are collected into a FORTRAN software package, but neither explicit programs nor algorithms are presented. Examples are given and the suitability of a particular method for interpolating or approximating some class of scattered data is discussed.
