In this paper the linearized problem of internal waves in two superposed non-miscible inviscid fluids subjected to a linearized surface tension interface condition is treated. Different types of singularities are investigated to some extent by analytical means: line singularities (wave sources or multipoles), point singularities (multipoles), and singularities at the interface. Applications or comparison to experimental results are not included. [Ed. remark: Correction to the review published in Zbl 0616.76030 which has been changed by mistake.]
