We investigate nearfields with allow elimination of quantifiers (QE- nearfields). Generalizing results of A. Macintyre and B. Rose on QE- fields it is shown that infinite QE-nearfields with finite dimension over the kernel are algebraically closed fields. An additional theorem characterizes the structure of QE-nearfields with infinite dimension over the kernel K. These nearfields have center \(C=K\) or \(C=\{\pm 1\}\). Finally we mention some results on \(\aleph_ 1\)-categorical nearfields which were proved in the author's thesis.
