This paper establishes the existence of an invariant probability measure on the set of measure-preserving bijections of the unit interval. In fact, the measure may be further restricted to be a Baire measure. This result is compared with Aumann's [\textit{R. J. Aumann}, Proc. 5th Berkeley Sympos. math. Statist. Probab., Univ. Calif. 1965/66, 2, Part 2, 321-326 (1967; Zbl 0214.156)] and Aumann and Shapley's [\textit{R. J. Aumann} and \textit{L. S. Shapley}, Values of non-atomic games (1974; Zbl 0311.90084)] impossibility theorems.
