We define the complex B-splines with equidistant knots on the unit circle via difference operators. The explicit form, in terms of the Gaussian binomial coefficients, of these B-splines are found to coincide with that of Schoenberg's. Thereafter, we obtain the Fourier series of these B- splines, which can also be written in the Schoenberg's form.
