Necessary and sufficient conditions are given in order to conclude that an embedded standardly framed k-sphere can be removed from the (n\(+1-k)\)- tuple set of a codimension one immersion. Some variations on the generalized Boy's immersions are given. A product formula for the self- intersection sets of certain superimposed immersions is established.
