The self-homotopy equivalence of the exceptional simple Lie groups which are H-maps for small multiplications on the spaces of the groups, are shown to induce the identity isomorphisms in integral cohomology modulo torsion. More particular results are given at each prime. This continues earlier work by the authors for classical Lie groups. The proofs are not routine.
